Plantation Company Workshop 2021

BPS Lampung Province held a Workshop on Plantation Companies in 2021 with the theme "Improving the Strategic Role of the Plantation Sector Towards a Glorious Lampung". The event, which was held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, took place at the Springhill Golden Tulip Hotel, and was attended by all private and state plantation companies throughout the province of Lampung, representatives of offices/agencies in Lampung Province, BPS Province and BPS Regency/City throughout Lampung Province.

The workshop was opened by the Head of BPS Lampung Province, Mrs. Endang Retno Sri Subiyandani, by presenting 1 resource person from BPS RI, Mrs. Sholimah; resource 2 from APINDO, Mr. Sandi Asmara; and 3 resource persons from BPS Lampung Province, Mrs. Maya Narang Ali. In this event, BPS Lampung Province also gave an award to the Best Plantation Company for the category of Group Company and Sole Company.

The implementation of this workshop aims to socialize the benefits of plantation data as a policy maker and also introduce the SEDAPP Online application developed by BPS for filling out independent plantation data by companies. It is hoped that with the implementation of this event, Private Plantation Companies can independently fill out plantation surveys on the SEDAPP Online application so that the response rate and quality of plantation data in Lampung Province will be better.
