Badan Pusat Statistik, (BPS) conducted a groundbreaking procession for the construction of their office building on Friday (08/09/2023).


This important event is a milestone for Badan Pusat Statistik of the Central Lampung Regency in improving public services and data processing capacity.


The building to be built will be the new face of the Badan Pusat Statistik of the Central Lampung Regency office which is located on Jalan Hanura, Gunung Sugih, Central Lampung Regency.


With the new building and supporting infrastructure, the hope is that BPS can provide excellent service to the community and create a comfortable environment for employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.


The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the Head of BPS Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, accompanied by the Head of the General Section of BPS Lampung Province, Agung Erianto Juliandono, Head of BPS Central Lampung Regency, Tri Kuntjoro, and a number of other Heads of BPS Regency and City.


In his remarks, Tri Kuntjoro conveyed the difficulty of the struggle of BPS Central Lampung Regency employees who had previously worked in limitations, so that with the revitalization of the BPS Central Lampung Regency office building which has been echoed since the end of 2020, it will be a very important history for BPS Central Lampung Regency.


Tri Kuntjoro also said that the construction period of this office building will last for 120 effective days with a target completion date of December 26, 2023.


Although the schedule has been set, he is optimistic and hopes that if possible the construction can be completed earlier than the predetermined deadline.


The Head of BPS Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, conveyed the importance of the construction of this new building in improving service quality and operational efficiency.


He also expressed BPS commitment to continuously improve data collection and analysis methods in order to provide accurate and quality information to the community, government institutions, and the private sector.


Furthermore, according to him, with this new building, BPS Central Lampung Regency will be increasingly recognized as a professional and modern institution in managing statistical data, so that it can become a reliable source of data for development planning and policy making purposes.


In the construction of the new building, BPS Central Lampung Regency will also be equipped with infrastructure that can support the data processing process more quickly and accurately.


The current development of information and communication technology has given a big push for BPS to improve efficiency in collecting, processing, and analyzing statistical data.


This is expected to improve the performance of BPS Central Lampung Regency in producing quality and reliable statistical data.


Atas also reminded that it is important to note that in the implementation of this project, CV. Multi Usaha Sipil, which acts as the Implementing Contractor, has a central role in ensuring the success of this building construction.


They have committed to carry out this project in accordance with the deadline that has been set.
