Verification of 2023 Agricultural Census Results Data for Lampung Province

BPS Lampung Province held a Data Verification Meeting for the 2023 Agricultural Census Processing Results at the Novotel Hotel, Bandar Lampung on 10-11 October 2023.

All Regency/City BPS representatives throughout Lampung were invited to ensure that all data that had been collected regarding the completeness of the coverage as well as the consistency and reasonableness of the filling was truly a true portrait of field conditions.

The event was opened directly by the Deputy for Social Statistics of BPS RI, Dr. Ateng Hartono, SE, M.Si, on that occasion he also gave an important highlight to the agricultural census data which plays a strategic role both in contributing to the structure of economic growth and the welfare conditions of the agricultural community in Lampung.

Apart from that, at this opening ceremony, a collaboration on the Village of Love Statistics (Desa Cantik) program was signed between the Head of BPS Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, S.Si, M.Si, and the Dean of FMIPA Unversitaas Lampung, Dr. Eng. Heri Satria, S.Si., M.Sc., followed by the signing of a joint commitment between BPS Lampung Province and the Village Community Empowerment and Transmigration Service of Lampung Province, represented by I Wayan Gunawan, S.E

It is hoped that this collaboration will strengthen the Cantik Village program in Lampung for developing village-level statistical literacy by providing quality data with a sustainable development program in villages.
