BPS-Statistics’ Data, Used as a Reference in the RKPD of Lampung Province

Bandar Lampung, 6 February 2024 - Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis was a resource person at the Public Consultation Forum in the framework of the initial preparation of the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) for Lampung Province for 2025. The event, which was held at the Emersia Hotel, was attended by the Chairman of the DPRD Lampung Province, Mingrum Gumay, Head of Lampung Province Bappeda, Elvira Umihani, chairman of the Lampung Indonesian Journalists Association, Wirahadikusumah, Community Figures, Universities, Media and Vertical Agencies and Regional Apparatus in Lampung Province.

 

With the theme "Synergy to strengthen sustainable economic capacity and resilience as well as the quality of human development", this FKP continues the previous year's theme, namely "Consolidating economic transformation and the quality of human resources towards the people of Lampung being victorious".

 

In the material reviewing socio-economic statistics for Lampung Province, Atas describes the socio-economic development of Lampung during 2019-2023. "Currently, Lampung is entering a demographic bonus period, a period where the population of productive age (15-64 years) is greater than the non-productive age population (65 years and over). However, what needs to be paid attention to is that in 2040, Lampung will move towards Aging Population, where there will be an increase life expectancy followed by an increase in the number of elderly people." Top said.

 

In closing, this event ended with the signing of the Minutes by several stakeholders. It is hoped that this FKP can provide a strong foundation for the preparation of the RKPD for Lampung Province in 2025, as well as being able to create sustainable development and improve the quality of life of the people of Lampung towards a better future.
