Sharing the Blessings of Ramadan: BPS Lampung Province Distributes Basic Food Packages

BPS-Statistics Lampung Province held an activity to distribute basic food packages to people in need around the BPS office environment. The activity, which took place on Friday (03/15/2024), was led directly by the Daily Chairman of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province Korpri Management, John Knedi. 

"Alhamdulillah, on the occasion of Friday Blessing this morning, BPS Lampung Province was able to distribute 31 food packages to our brothers and sisters in need around the BPS Office environment," said John Knedi.

"This activity is part of the Korpri sharing program, and a form of concern from BPS-Statistics Lampung Province for the community, especially those in the environment around BPS, and they are indeed in need," continued John. 

The distribution of food packages was carried out directly to the community. The Daily Chairperson of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province  Korpri Management, John Knedi, and the Team visited residents' homes and handed over food packages to them.

Meanwhile, the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, fully supports the Friday blessing activities that have been running every week. 

Atas explained that this activity can strengthen the sense of concern for others, by setting aside sustenance to share with each other. 

In addition to strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and care among others, this activity is also in order to help the Government in suppressing inflation, due to the soaring prices of basic needs.

The distribution of food packages is a form of social service carried out by BPS-Statistics Lampung Province through Korpri in the month of Ramadan 1445 AH. 

It is hoped that this activity can benefit people in need, and improve good relations between BPS and the community.
