PKRT Component in 2023 Grows by 5.15%

The household sector has a strategic role in the economy. This is reflected in the large contribution of household consumption in the formation of GRDP expenditure. Apart from their role as final consumers of goods and services, households also act as producers and providers of production factors for production activities carried out by other sectors.

PKRT includes household expenditure on consumer goods and services such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, health, entertainment and other goods needed to meet daily needs.

The PKRT component in 2023 will experience growth of 5.15 percent. The growth of this component has continued to increase since 2020. The increase in population is one of the drivers of the increase in household consumption value, in addition to the increase in the per capita consumption value of some of the population.
