21.57% of households will receive the Food Assistance Program in 2023

In 2023, as many as 21.57% of households in Lampung Province will receive food assistance. This data was taken from the March 2023 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) by the Central Statistics Agency. This shows the government's efforts to pay attention to the basic needs of the community.

The food assistance in question includes non-cash food assistance (BPNT) and basic food assistance. BPNT is social food assistance in the form of non-cash from the government which is given to KPM in the amount of 110,000 rupiah every month through banking mechanisms. Meanwhile, Basic Food Assistance is a development from BPNT which was carried out starting in 2020. The amount received by KPMs who receive the Basic Food Program is 150,000 rupiah and is given through banking mechanisms.
