Condition of the Lampung Province Labor Force, February 2024

The working age population in Lampung Province will reach 7,053.58 thousand people in February 2024? This shows the great potential of the workforce in Lampung.

Of this number, 5,044.04 thousand people or 71.51% have entered the workforce. The good news is that in the last year, there was a workforce absorption of 42.30 thousand people. This means that 4,836.33 thousand people currently have working status.

However, behind this positive news, there are still 207.70 thousand people who are unemployed. This figure shows that there are still challenges in creating enough jobs to accommodate the entire workforce in Lampung.

Nevertheless, this increase in labor absorption should be appreciated. The efforts of the government and various parties to encourage economic growth and job creation need to continue to be optimized. In this way, it is hoped that it can reduce unemployment and improve the welfare of the people of Lampung.
