As part of the Domestic Strategic Study (SSDN) Regular Education Program (PPRA) LXVI Year 2024, participants from the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) RI visited the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province on Monday (13/5). This visit took place after a previous meeting with the Governor of Lampung this morning and is an important part of the SSDN activities.
At 14.30 WIB, the SSDN participants' group, led by I Wayan Suarjaya, S.Sos., M.Tr. (Han), Expert Staff of Demographic Studies at Lemhannas RI, arrived at the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province office, and were warmly welcomed by the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, along with the Senior Expert Statisticians and heads of BPS throughout Lampung Province.
The event began with a group photo session in the yard of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, followed by the main event in the BPS-Statistics Auditorium.
In his speech, Atas Parlindungan Lubis affirmed BPS-Statistics's commitment to providing accurate data to support the planning and implementation of public policies. "We are committed to releasing data regularly every month and ensuring a deep understanding of these data," said Atas.
I Wayan Suarjaya added that the purpose of the visit was to deepen understanding of strategic issues and problems in Lampung Province, which will contribute to the creation of more targeted policies.
SSDN participants then had the opportunity to witness a presentation from Atas Parlindungan Lubis about the latest statistical data covering strategic indicators in Lampung Province.
After the presentation, a question and answer session by participants, the exchange of ideas and discussions that took place showed a strong commitment to improving the quality of data and public policies.
The event ended with the exchange of plaques as a symbol of cooperation and appreciation between Lemhannas RI and BPS-Statistics Lampung Province. This visit is expected to strengthen the role of BPS-Statistics in providing accurate and relevant data, which is essential in the planning and implementation of effective public policies.
