In the era of globalization, the role of this category is very vital and is an indicator of a nation's progress, especially telecommunications services. Especially during the pandemic that has hit since March 2020, which makes it impossible to interact face to face with many people, it is very important for infocom services to be used by all sectors.

Information and Communication Category, GRDP at Current Prices (ADHB) during 2023 contributes 3.88 percent of the total economy of Lampung Province, down slightly compared to the previous year.
