Lampung Province's Transportation and Warehousing GRDP Growth Rate in 2023 is 16.66%

The Transportation and Warehousing business sector plays an important role in economic development by facilitating the movement of goods and people and opening opportunities for access to markets, jobs and services. By expanding transportation activities, it can influence the distribution of goods more quickly at affordable costs, which can facilitate market growth and healthy competition. Apart from that, this also opens up access to jobs and education and health services, thus opening up opportunities for individuals to improve their welfare.

In the Lampung Province region during 2023, the economic growth rate in the Transportation and Warehousing business sector will reach 16.66 percent. This figure is lower than in 2022 which was 20.31 percent. However, the growth trend in this business sector in the 2020-2023 period continues to show a positive direction, indicating that transportation and warehousing activities in Lampung Province are increasingly contributing to regional development.
