BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, held a Field Officer Training Survey for the Compilation of Gross Fixed Capital Formation Disaggregation (PMTB) 2024 offline at Emersia Hotel, Bandar Lampung, on Thursday (13/6). The training aims to obtain an overview of PMTB in Indonesia by type of fixed assets, business field, and institutional sector, as well as improve the quality of other national accounts data related to investment.
The Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, in his speech said that this training is important to produce quality and accurate PMTB data.
This data will later be used for various purposes, such as:
Knowing the contribution of economic sectors to the formation of PMTB.
Analyzing investment patterns and trends in Indonesia.Formulate appropriate policies to promote economic growth.The training participants consisted of 2 National Instructors, 37 field officers from BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, BPS-Statistics District/city, and 4 organizers from BPS-Statistics Lampung Province. They will receive materials on survey concepts and methodology, the use of the FASIH application, and data imputation techniques.
Atas added that the PMTB data generated from this training will be the basis for BPS in compiling national balance sheet statistics, including capital stock and consumption of fixed capital goods. "This data is also important to fulfill DGI G20 recommendations and SDGs targets in encouraging inclusive and sustainable economic growth," he explained.
The training was attended by 37 field officers from provinces and districts/cities, the participants will receive material on survey concepts and methodologies, the use of the FASIH application, and data imputation techniques.
The 2024 PMTB Disaggregation Survey will be conducted from June to August 2024, with sampling units taken from provincial and district/city level agencies/OPDs/Departments. It is expected that through this training, field officers can carry out the survey as well as possible and produce quality data.
