Lampung Province's NTP in May 2024 is 121.79%

Lampung Province's NTP in May 2024 is 121.79. This value increased by 2.08 percent compared to the April 2024 NTP of 119.32. The increase in NTP in May 2024 was caused by a decrease in the price index received by farmers and an increase in the price index paid by farmers. The decrease in the index paid by farmers was caused by a decrease in the household consumption index by 0.40 percent and an increase in the production cost index and additional capital goods by 0.08 percent.

The increase in NTP in May 2024 was influenced by the increase in NTP in several agricultural subsectors, namely the horticultural crops subsector by 2.41 percent, the smallholder plantation crops subsector by 4.24 percent, and the livestock subsector by 1.26 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP that experienced a decline was the food crops subsector by 0.27 percent, the capture fisheries subsector by 2.53 percent, and the aquaculture subsector by 0.67 percent.
