Number of Public Transportation Passenger Departures in June 2024 Increases by 8.83%

The number of passengers departing using public transportation on land, sea and air transportation modes in June 2024 was 179,086 people. This number has increased by 8.83 percent when compared to the conditions in May 2024 which were 164,552 people. The increase in the number of passenger departures occurred in the ferry transportation mode, which was 37.64 percent, but on the contrary, the departure of passengers using airplane and train transportation modes decreased by 2.74 percent and 1.11 percent, respectively.

The number of passengers departing using the train transportation mode was 69,503 people. This number is the highest number of passengers among other transportation modes. The number of passengers using the ferry transportation mode was 62,254 people. While the number of passengers using the airplane transportation mode was 47,329 people.
