BPS-Statistics of Lampung Province together with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) held the 2025 National Financial Literacy and Inclusion Survey (SNLIK) Training on Wednesday (20/11) at the Horison Hotel, Bandar Lampung.
This training was attended by 16 participants from four regencies/cities that will be covered, namely South Lampung Regency, Central Lampung Regency, Tulang Bawang Regency, and Bandar Lampung City.
The main objective of SNLIK 2025 is to obtain an accurate picture of the level of understanding and access of the Indonesian people to financial products and services. With the data obtained from this survey, it is hoped that more targeted policies can be formulated to improve financial literacy and inclusion of the community.
The Head of BPS Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, represented by an Associate Expert Statistician, Febiyana Qomariyah, explained that the 2025 National Financial Literacy and Inclusion Survey (SNLIK) aims to obtain prevalence figures for the level of literacy and inclusion of the community towards financial services in Indonesia.
This survey uses the Probability Proportional to Size (PPS-systematic) random sampling method when selecting Regency/City and Census Block, with households as the observation unit.
Meanwhile, the selection of main respondents uses the KISS table. The main respondents interviewed by officers have an age range of 15-79 years. The survey results will provide a comprehensive picture of the level of financial literacy and inclusion at the National level both in urban and rural areas.
The Head of the Lampung Province OJK, Otto Fitriandy, in his remarks emphasized the importance of standardization in conducting surveys. According to him, "differences in the level of understanding of respondents are a challenge for survey officers." he said. Therefore, this training focuses on effective interview techniques so that the data obtained can be relied on and accurate.
