March 2025 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in Lampung Province has officially begun

BPS-Statistics of Lampung Province has officially started data collection for the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) for the March 2025 period. This survey aims to collect data related to the social and economic conditions of the Indonesian people which will be the basis for formulating government policies.

Acting Head of BPS Lampung Province, Agung Erianto Juliandono stated that the March 2025 Susenas will cover various important indicators, including education levels, health, household consumption, and access to various social facilities. "The data collected from this survey will be a reference for the government in formulating appropriate policies to improve people's welfare," he said during a direct visit to the field.

The March 2025 Susenas is currently underway to collect data which will be carried out in all regencies/cities in Lampung Province by involving 1,001 field officers who have received special training to collect data on 10,800 sample households which will end by the end of February 2025. The data collection method is carried out through direct interviews by visiting selected households using questionnaires prepared by BPS.

In addition, this year, BPS also supports the collection of important information related to new government programs such as the Free Nutritious Meals program asked in the March 2025 Susenas data collection, added Agung E.J.

BPS appeals to all people who are respondents to actively participate and provide honest and accurate answers. Public participation is very important in order to produce valid data and reflect the actual socio-economic conditions.

The results of the March 2025 Susenas will later be used to prepare various development programs, including poverty alleviation, increasing access to education, and providing better health services and other development indicators.

With the start of this data collection, it is hoped that all parties can support the implementation of the March 2025 Susenas so that the data produced is truly useful for national development planning.
