Abstract

The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) for Lampung Province in 2023 was 0.437, down 0.019 points compared to 2022 which was 0.456.

The decline in the Gender Inequality Index (IKG) is mainly influenced by improvements in the dimensions of reproductive health.

The reproductive health dimension is influenced by improvements in indicators for the proportion of women aged 15-49 years whose first live birth was aged < 20 years, which fell from 26.9 percent in 2022 to 26.0 percent in 2023.
