Population of Lampung Province Result of the 2015 Intercensal Population Census

Inter-Censal Population Survey (SUPAS) is a population survey carried out between two censuses. Before SUPAS2015, the previous SUPAS have been carried out four times, in 1976, 1985, 1995, and 2005. The objective of SUPAS2015 is to estimate the size, distribution and composition of the population, to provide data for calculating specific characteristics of the population and demographic parameters, to update the 2010-2035 population projections, to be used as materials planning and evaluation of the latest MDGs. The data and information presented in this publication include basic descriptions of the population, such as birth, death, population mobility, and housing and also information related to current issues such as disability, international migration, and climate change. The information presented includes the overall tabulation of the characteristics of the population in Lampung. Figures presented in this book can be used as reference for presenting of other characteristics that will be carried out gradually
