Abstract

Publications in foreign exchange rates Lampung Province in 2016 monitoring report on the activities of buying and selling of foreign currency by an individual company to monitor fluctuations in the rupiah against foreign currencies as well as to see fluctuations in the rupiah. The scope of monitoring that is used is the fluctuation of exchange rates among the major currencies; American Dollar, Australian Dollar, British Pound, Singapore Dollar, and others. The data presented in this publication includes foreign exchange rates from January to December 2016. During the year 2016, the Indonesian economy is still influenced by global conditions. The challenge faced is inseparable from the dynamics of the global economic and financial developments, the world economic growth is slowing, declining commodity prices and financial markets are still volatile. Most of the global state economic movements influenced by US economic conditions and economic policy to be issued by the central bank of the world`s largest economy. Some US political issue after the elections are sufficiently effective to put pressure on world currencies, especially Rupiah. Still from the external sector, the Chinese economic slowdown affected the movement of Rupiah as the largest trading partner of Indonesia. The slowdown was influenced by the weakening of the manufacturing sector and the investment the country. Meanwhile, on the domestic sector was supported by positive sentiment in line with macroeconomic stability and implementation of government policies relating to taxes that went well.
