Population Projection of Regency/Municipality of Lampung Province 2015-2025

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lampung Province has published the 2010-2035 Lampung Population Projection and 2010-2020 Regency/City Population Projections at the end of 2014. Population projections are needed to meet the population data needs between 2 (two) censuses/surveys used in development planning short term and long term. Projection calculations use the assumptions of fertility, mortality and migration. The projection is always updated or revised using the latest data, which may have assumptions that are no longer in accordance with actual conditions.
Therefore, the publication of this 2015-2025 Regency/City Population Projection of Lampung Province was prepared based on the results of the 2015 Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) and in accordance with the assumption of calculating the national and provincial projections. The calculated period is not too long with the consideration that the assumptions used are not too deviant, so that the resulting projections and estimates are considered realistic.
