The Plantation Sub-Sector is an economic sector that has quite an important role in development in Lampung Province. The development of this sub-sector is often used as a benchmark for a region's progress, because it has a positive impact on economic growth and provides job opportunities. BPS Lampung Province regulates the publication of the "2017 Lampung Province Plantation Company Directory". This directory is the result of updates carried out continuously until 2017. For BPS itself, this directory is very much needed in collecting data on various surveys of fishing companies.
