The agricultural sector, especially the fisheries sub-sector, is one of the economic sectors that has an important role in development in Lampung Province. The development of this sector is often used as a benchmark for the progress of a region, because it gives a positive impact on economic growth and provides employment opportunities.For monitoring and evaluating the development of the fisheries sub-sector, especially in Lampung Province, BPS Lampung Province publishes the publication of the Directory of the Lampung Province Fisheries Company 2019. This directory is the result of an update that is carried out continuously until 2019. For BPS itself, this directory is urgently needed for sample frame framework for collecting data on various fisheries company surveys.
