Profile of Micro and Small Industries in Lampung Province 2021

Micro and Small Scale Processing Industry (IMK) activities have a fairly high contribution in creating jobs and absorbing the workforce. IMK's business was able to survive amidst the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic which is still ongoing throughout 2021. However, the government still needs to increase its role in increasing IMK's contribution to economic activities. A number of programs have been launched by the government to support micro and small businesses, including industrial activities. These programs require data and information so that the policies issued are right on target and able to support the successful development of micro and small industries.
The 2021 Lampung Province Micro and Small Industry Profile (IMK) publication is a publication whose data was obtained from the results of the 2021 Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey (VIMK-21). This publication presents data on business activities in the micro and small processing industry sector which has a workforce of 1–19 people. The statistics and analysis presented include the number of businesses/companies, workers, employee compensation, expenses, income, capital, business difficulties, business services and guidance, internet use and IMK marketing distribution. Data is presented according to the 2020 two-digit Standard Classification Code for Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) and according to districts/cities in Lampung Province.
