Lampung Province's Agricultural Potential New Map of Food Crops and Sustainable Plantations

Agriculture plays a vital role in Lampung's economic development and food security. More than half of Lampung's population depends on the agricultural sector for their living. The changes and challenges faced by this subsector will have a significant impact on national welfare. The publication entitled Lampung Province's Agricultural Potential: A New Map of Lampung's Sustainable Agriculture comes amidst efforts to build a more resilient, adaptive and sustainable agricultural system, with the hope that it will bring progress to the nation.


This book digs deeper into the opportunities and challenges facing agricultural subsectors such as food crops and plantations using data from the 2023 Agricultural Census and other relevant sources. Through comprehensive analysis, we try to map untapped potential, formulate solutions to existing problems, and provide references in formulating more targeted policies.
