Visit of Director General of Treasury and Customs to BPS-Statistics Lampung Province

Bandar Lampung, August 10, 2023 - Dewi Imelda Sari, Head of Accounting and Financial Reporting Development (PAPK) Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of Lampung Province, and Eryanto, Head of Data Reception and Management Section, West Sumatra Customs Regional Office, made a constructive visit to BPS-Statistics Lampung Province. This visit aims to strengthen cooperation in the collection and analysis of relevant statistical data for the benefit of customs and the state treasury.

 

The delegation was warmly received by Riduan, an intermediate expert statistician at BPS-Statistics Lampung Province. During the meeting, the parties discussed the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System or commonly known as HS.

 

HS is a list of classification of goods made systematically with the aim of facilitating withdrawals, trade transactions, transportation and statistics.

 

This visit confirmed the commitment of all parties to work together in utilizing statistical data as an important tool in making high-quality decisions in various fields, including customs and the national treasury.
