Head of BPS-Statistics Province of Lampung Visits the Cooperatives and UMKM Office

Head of BPS Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis and his staff paid a visit to the Lampung Province Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs.

 

The Head of Cooperatives and UMKM Office for Lampung Province, Syamsurizal Ari, also warmly welcomed the arrival of BPS-Statistics of Lampung Province on Tuesday (8/8/2023).

 

This visit is a form of consolidation and following up on cooperation in the framework of supporting the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Priority Program, namely the construction of a single KUMKM database through the Complete KUMKM Data Collection (PL-KUMKM) which is scheduled for 2022 to 2024, in which this data collection will be carried out by BPS.

 

At this meeting, the Head of the Cooperatives and UMKM Office for Lampung Province, Syamsurizal Ari, opened a sharing regarding the experience of data collection in 2022 which found many dynamics in the field.

 

He continued, "There used to be an understanding like this sir, when in the field they had already run before being recorded, so there is still fear and anxiety in the community in several districts," said Syamsurizal Ari.

 

Syamsurizal Ari also hopes that the role of BPS-Statistics can provide better data collection, also for enumerators (field officers) and data collection dissemination to be strengthened again, and involve opinion leaders such as sub-district heads and village heads, because they understand more about field conditions.
