BPS-Statistics Lampung Province today held the Inauguration and Swearing-In Ceremony for Administrative and Functional Positions at the Auditorium of the Lampung Provincial BPS, Friday (6/7/24). The event was attended by various important officials, including the Head of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, the Head of the General Affairs Section of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, the Heads of BPS-Statistics in Regencies/Municipalities across Lampung Province, Functional Officers of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, and the Chair of the BPS-Statistics Lampung ProvinceWorking Team.
This inauguration appointed two new officials to occupy strategic positions within the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province. Arum Purbowati, SST., was sworn in as the Head of the BPS-Statistics Metro Municipality, replacing Mrs. Wintarti Dyah Indriani, SE., who has entered retirement, while Bayu Prasetyo, SST., M.Si., was appointed as a Junior Computer Specialist in the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province.
The Head of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, expressed his hope in his speech that this inauguration would bring a breath of fresh air to the BPS-Statistics in Lampung Province. "With this inauguration, I hope that the BPS-Statistics in all regions of Lampung Province will continue to advance and contribute accurate data for the development of Lampung," he said.
Furthermore, Atas Parlindungan Lubis reminded the new officials about the importance of integrity and dedication in carrying out statistical tasks, which are the backbone of regional development. He emphasized that high-quality and reliable statistical data are crucial to support the formulation of appropriate and effective policies.
This inauguration is part of the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of human resources and strengthen institutional performance.
