Lampung Province's NTP in February 2024 increased by 2.24% compared to the previous

Lampung Province's NTP in February 2024 was 122.02 or an increase of 2.24 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which increased by 3.22 percent and the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which increased by 0.96 percent.

Apart from that, the increase in NTP in February 2024 was influenced by the increase in NTP in several agricultural subsectors, namely the food crop subsector by 2.42 percent, the horticultural crop subsector by 4.56 percent, and the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 2.42 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP that experienced a decline was the livestock subsector by 0.53 percent, the capture fisheries subsector by 0.56 percent, and the aquaculture subsector which fell by 0.61 percent.

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is an indicator to show the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed as well as production costs.
