The Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province paid a working visit to Tanggamus Regency on Thursday (13/6) in order to supervise the implementation of the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP). This visit was accompanied by the Head of the Production Statistics Team of BPS-Statistics Tanggamus Regency, Suprianto.
The main objective of this supervision activity was to directly observe the field conditions related to the implementation of SEP 2024, especially regarding the cost structure and income of individual agricultural businesses.
In addition, the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province also wanted to ensure that the data collection in the field was in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the concept of definition that had been determined, and the hope that it could be completed on time in accordance with the data collection schedule.
"The Agricultural Economic Survey is an important survey to determine the economic condition of agricultural businesses in Indonesia," said the Head of Lampung Province BPS. "Through this survey, we can obtain information about the cost structure and income of agricultural businesses, the level of profit of agricultural businesses, and the contribution of agricultural businesses to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the agricultural sector."
The Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province hopes that with this supervision, the implementation of SEP 2024 in Tanggamus Regency, as well as in other areas in Lampung Province, can run smoothly and produce quality data.
The Survey of Agricultural Economics (SEP) is a survey conducted by BPS-Statistics on a regular basis to collect data on the economic conditions of agricultural businesses in Indonesia. Data collected through the SEP includes the cost and income structure of agricultural businesses, the profit level of agricultural businesses, and the contribution of agricultural businesses to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the agricultural sector.
