Cattle slaughter in the yard of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province

BPS-Statistics Lampung Province , conducts cattle slaughter as part of qurban as part of a series of activities in celebrating Eid al-Adha, on Wednesday (19/6). The event was held in the yard of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province office and witnessed by the employees.

The activity began with remarks from the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, who was represented by the Head of the General Section of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Agung Erianto Juliandono.

In his speech, Agung expressed the importance of Eid al-Adha as a time to reflect on the meaning of sacrifice and sharing with others. "We hope that this activity will not only become an annual routine, but also a tangible form of our concern for the surrounding community," he said.

The series of qurban events began with a joint prayer, as an expression of gratitude for the blessings given by Allah SWT. After that, the procession of slaughtering qurban animals officially began.

The qurban animals provided for this year were carefully selected to ensure the best condition. After the slaughtering process was completed, the meat was then distributed to BPS-Statistics employees and the surrounding community in need, as a tangible manifestation of social solidarity in celebrating Eid al-Adha.

Not only an annual routine activity, but qurban can be a moment that brings happiness and togetherness to all BPS-Statistics Lampung Province employees and the surrounding community. Hopefully activities like this will continue and further strengthen the bonds of togetherness and social care in Lampung Province.
