The percentage of households that have access to decent and affordable housing in 2023 is 63.15%

Decent housing has four criteria that must be met, namely:

Building Resilience

Adequate living area, namely floor area per capita = 7.2 m2

Have access to drinking water

Have access to proper sanitation

Affordable criteria, in the form of:

Residential security by proxy in the form of proof of ownership of residential land.

Rental expenses and house installments are no more than 30% of monthly household expenses. For households that live on their own property, it is assumed to be affordable.

During the 2019–2023 period, the percentage of households that have access to decent and affordable housing in Lampung Province is increasing. Based on Susenas data for March 2019–2023, in 2019 the percentage of households that had access to decent and affordable housing in Lampung Province was 52.00 percent and in March 2023 it reached 63.15 percent. The percentage of households that have access to decent and affordable housing in Lampung Province is improving.
