BPS-Statistics Lampung Province holds Coordination Meeting on Public Welfare Statistics

BPS-Statistics Lampung Province held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) for the Publication of Public Welfare Statistics in the Hall BPS-Statistics Lampung Province. This event was held on Wednesday (6/11) and was attended by representatives from various BPS-Statistics Regencies/Municipalities throughout Lampung Province.

In his remarks, the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, emphasized the importance of focusing on core business in every activity carried out. "There are new things that we can initiate, the ultimate goal of which is to improve quality. We focus on the core business of what we do in the future," he said.

He also reminded the importance of solid cooperation between work teams. "It is not enough to just be compact in each team, what is good is how we from each work team can unite into a whole unit. If it is still silo-silo, it means that we have not moved on and only focus on certain cases. Think generally about the big goals of BPS-Statistics, both in the Province and Regencies/Municipalities, so that synergy can be carried out," he added.

Atas also conveyed his focus on identifying parts that can distort the quality of data collection, with an example of a focus on the implementation of Susenas next year. "Prepare good and detailed documentation in the written report of this activity and other activities, so that the minutes are not just a matter of fulfilling obligations, but can one day be our reference. What are the problems and shortcomings so that we can make improvements," he explained.

This Coordination Meeting activity is expected to improve coordination and synergy, as well as ensure the quality of publication of better public welfare statistics in the future.
