Analysis of Current Issue of Lampung Province 2023

Analysis of Current Issues in Lampung Province 2023 is one of the publications of the Lampung Province Central Statistics Agency in 2023. This publication presents a discussion of several important themes or issues that are currently developing. In this second edition, the publication Analysis of Current Issues discusses two themes. The first theme relates to gender development which focuses on calculating and analyzing the gender inequality index (IKG) in Lampung Province and the second relates to the housing conditions of urban communities in Lampung Province as a result of the 2020 Population Census Long Form.
The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) is one of the new indicators released by BPS in 2023. In the future, this indicator will be a replacement for the Gender Empowerment Index (IDG) indicator which is considered to still have several weaknesses. Apart from being used as an indicator in the SDGs, IKG is also used as an indicator in the 2025-2045 RPJPN. Regarding the second theme, namely housing, it is also no less interesting. In this publication we will be able to see the housing conditions of Lampung people, especially those in urban areas.
