Harvested Area and Rice Production in Lampung Province 2024

Integrated Agricultural Statistics Data Collection for Food Crops Using the Area Sampling Frame (KSA) Method is a collaborative effort between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN), which has now merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Kementerian ATR/BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This initiative is part of a national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security, through the improvement of food statistics data. Its national implementation began in 2018. The primary objective of this initiative is to produce objective, scientifically sound data on rice harvested area, incorporating the latest technology, to ensure more accurate, timely, and timely rice production data collection.

The 2024 Rice Harvest Area and Production Report in Lampung Province presents the results of the implementation of KSA data collection during 2024. In addition, this report also presents information on the potential for rice planting obtained from field observations.
