Lampung's yoy inflation in December 2023 to 3.47%

Bandar Lampung, January 2, 2024 - BPS-Statistics Lampung Province recorded a combined yoy inflation of two cities in Lampung in December 2023 of 3.47%. This figure is smaller than the yoy inflation in November 2023 of 4.10%.

Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, said the highest inflation occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco group at 9.36%. Then the education group at 3.68%; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group at 2.15%; and personal care and other services group at 1.57%.

"While the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index (deflation), namely the transportation group 0.27% and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.28%," Atas said in his official statement, Tuesday (2/1).

Then the main commodities contributing to yoy inflation in December 2023, including rice, red chili, filter cigarettes, garlic, cayenne pepper, ultimate drinking water rates, and granulated sugar.

The month to month (mtm) inflation rate in December 2023 was recorded at 0.01% inflation and the year to date (ytd) inflation rate in December 2023 was 3.47%.
