Entry Meeting: BPS-Statistics Lampung Province Inspection by BPK

Bandar Lampung, 19 February 2024 - Today, BPS-Statistics Lampung Province started a series of inspection processes by the Financial Audit Agency (BPK). The activity began with an entry meeting which was held in the BPS-Statistics Lampung Province video conference room. Also present was the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, who gave a speech, as well as the Head of BPS-Statistics Bandar Lampung Municipality and the Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Tengah Regency.

In this entry meeting, the Lampung Province BPS-Statisticcs team welcomed the presence of the BPK audit team consisting of 6 people and emphasized its commitment to support the financial audit process by providing access and the necessary information.

The inspection that will be carried out by the BPK will include various methods, including interviews with related parties, direct observation of BPS-Statistics activities such as Field Data Collection on Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the 2023 Agricultural Census, physical examination of documents, obtaining information, and confirmation for ensure the validity of the information obtained.

Apart from BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, BPS-Statistics Lampung Tengah Regency and BPS-Statistics Bandar Lampung Municipality were also subject to examination as sample tests by the BPK. This activity is scheduled to take place from today, Monday (19/2), to Friday (23/2). With the active involvement of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, it is hoped that the results of this inspection can make a positive contribution to improving the public financial management system in the area
