The amount of rainfall in 2023 will reach 1,562.6 mm/year

Based on data obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, the amount of rainfall in 2023 will be 1,562.6 mm per year with 128 rainy days. In Lampung Province, there is a Monsoon rain pattern, namely a rain pattern in the region that has a clear difference between the rainy season and the dry season. The rain pattern is unimodial (one peak rainy season).

Throughout 2023, the first five months have above average rainfall, namely above 130.21 mm/month. The highest amount of rainfall occurs in January with rainfall of 357.90 mm/month which has 21 rainy days. On the other hand, there are three months that have rainfall below 10 mm/month, namely August – October. The lowest amount of rainfall of 2 mm/month occurred in September with 1 rainy day.
