The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is an economic indicator used to measure the level of price changes at the consumer level. With changes in people's consumption patterns, starting January 2024, inflation measurement in Indonesia will use the CPI for the base year 2022=100. Several fundamental changes in the calculation of CPI (2022=100) compared to (CPI 2018=100), especially in terms of regional coverage, CPI calculation methodology, commodity packages, and weighing diagrams. These changes are based on the Cost of Living Survey (SBH) carried out by BPS during 2022, as one of the main basic ingredients in calculating the CPI.
SBH 2022 Lampung Province will be implemented in 4 regencies/cities, consisting of 2 cities and 2 regencies. Of the 4 districts/cities, 2 cities are continuations of the 2018 SBH districts/cities which cover urban areas and 2 districts are additional districts which cover urban and rural areas.
