The Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, attended the National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS) for Inflation Control Year 2024 which was held in a hybrid manner. The meeting was broadcast live from the State Palace and followed together at the Lampung Province Representative Office of Bank Indonesia this morning, Friday (14/6).
The meeting, which was chaired by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, raised the strategic theme of "Securing Production and Improving Supply Chain Efficiency to Support Price Stability".
The event began with the submission of a report by the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, on recent developments and inflation prospects. Followed by a report on inflation control efforts by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto as the Central Inflation Control Team (TPIP). Then, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, gave a speech and direction for the National Coordination Meeting on Inflation Control Year 2024.
In his remarks, President Joko Widodo emphasized the importance of cooperation and synergy between stakeholders to maintain the inflation rate, "In facing complex economic challenges, cooperation between the central and regional governments, as well as between Bank Indonesia and other related institutions, is the main key." said Joko Widodo.
Furthermore, he also provided strategic directions for the 2024 National Coordination Meeting on Inflation Control, including preparations in the face of climate disasters that could affect inflation in Indonesia, "We must also prepare for climate disasters that can have an impact on inflation in Indonesia." he continued.
The event then continued with remarks from the Head of Bank Indonesia Representative of Lampung Province. The meeting was closed with a report and direction from the chairman of the Lampung Province TPID as well as Plh. Governor of Lampung, Fahrizal Darminto, who was represented by the Inspector of Lampung Province, Fredy.
