Inflation in March 2024 was recorded at 0.36 percent

Inflation rate month to month (m-to-m) March 2024 Lampung Province recorded inflation of 0.36 percent. This can be interpreted that during March 2024 there was a general price increase of 0.36 percent when compared to prices in the month February 2024.

The dominant commodities that contribute/contribute to m-to-m inflation in March 2024 include: purebred chicken meat, purebred chicken eggs, garlic, live chickens, ground coffee, shallots, tilapia, machine-made kretek cigarettes (Skm), cayenne pepper, hand-rolled kretek cigarettes (skt), pet food, catfish, potatoes, men's jeans, papaya, granulated sugar, machine-made white cigarettes (SPM), disposable baby diapers/diapers, dumplings, and kale. Meanwhile, commodities that contribute/contribute to m-to-m deflation include: red chilies, rice, squid, perfume, and laundry freshener/softener, tomatoes, long beans, vitamins, eggplant and sanitary napkins.

Of the 444 commodities observed, 5 dominant commodities contributed to inflation on an m-to-m basis, namely: purebred chicken meat at 0.12 percent; purebred chicken eggs by 0.11 percent; garlic at 0.09 percent; live chickens by 0.07 percent; and ground coffee at 0.05 percent.
