BPS-Statistics Lampung Province held a Statistical Agent Training 2024 in the hall room of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province on Friday, (21/6). This activity aims to increase the knowledge and ability of Statistical Agents in understanding and managing statistical data, as well as making them BPS-Statistics ambassadors in disseminating statistical information and literacy to the public.
The training was attended by students who had been selected as Statistical Agents from several universities in Lampung. University of Lampung (UNILA), Sumatera Institute of Technology (ITERA), and Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB) were among the participants who eagerly participated in this event.
The Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, said that this training was part of the effort to internalize the Statistical Corner activities in 2024. The Statistical Corner aims to increase data dissemination and statistical literacy in Lampung Province. In his speech, Atas expressed his hope that Statistical Agents can become BPS-Statistics ambassadors in disseminating statistical information and literacy to the public, especially to the academic community in universities.
Competent resource persons from BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, namely K. Nurika Damayanti and Mukhlis, provided material relevant to various aspects of statistics. It is expected that with trained Statistical Agents, statistical data can be more easily accessed and utilized by the community for various purposes.
BPS-Statistics is committed to continuously improving the quality of statistical data and statistical literacy in Indonesia.
Hopefully the Statistical Agents who have participated in this training can actively contribute to the Universities represented in disseminating accurate and useful statistical information for the people of Lampung.
