Proportion of Population with ICT Skills in Lampung Province, 2023

Proportion of adolescents (aged 15–24 years) and adults (aged 15–59 years) who have engaged in specific computer-related activities in a given time period (past three months).

A computer refers to a desktop computer, laptop or tablet (or handheld computer-like device). It excludes devices with some computing capabilities such as Smart-TVs, and telephone devices as their primary function, such as smartphones.

During the period 2020–2023, the proportion of adolescents (aged 15–24 years) and adults (aged 15–59 years) with information and communication technology (ICT) skills in Lampung Province continued to increase. In 2020, the proportion of adolescents (aged 15–24 years) with information and communication technology (ICT) skills was at 85.18 percent and in 2023 it increased to 96.82 percent. Meanwhile, the proportion of adults (aged 15–59 years) with information and communication technology (ICT) skills in 2020 was at 55.57 percent and in 2023 it will also increase to 78.79 percent.
