BPS-Statistics Lampung Province held a peak event to commemorate the 2024 National Statistics Day (HSN) with great excitement on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The event was attended by all levels of BPS-Statistics, the association of retirees, invited guests from various government agencies, and the general public.
The series of HSN 2024 activities began with a Joint Healthy Walk and Gymnastics event on Friday, September 20, 2024. This activity was attended by BPS-Statistics Lampung Province employees to create an atmosphere of togetherness and socialize HSN to the community. Furthermore, on Monday, September 23, 2024, a Public Service Workshop was held which was attended by public relations teams from Regency/City BPS-Statistics throughout Lampung Province. On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, a Journalist & Stakeholder Workshop on Strategic Data was held, as well as supporting the preparation of the upcoming 2026 Economic Census. Various HSN competitions and Fun Games also enlivened this series of events.
On the peak day, Thursday, September 26, 2024, the event was opened with a National Statistics Day Ceremony led by the Head of Lampung Province BPS-Statistics, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, represented by the Head of General Affairs, Agung Erianto Juliandono. The ceremony ended with the cutting of tumpeng as a symbol of gratitude for the achievements and performance of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province over the past year.
Blood Donation activities in collaboration with UTD RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province were also part of the peak of HSN 2024. Dozens of BPS-Statistics employees and local residents participated in this activity, showing high social awareness. In addition, health socialization with the theme “Grounded by Sharing, Healthy Lampung with the Purpose of the Heart” by Dr. Syuhada, Sp., PK.M.Kes., and “Healthy Living in the Post-Service Period to Avoid Coronary Heart Disease” by Dr. Iswandi Darwis, M.Sc., Sp.PD., Sp.JP., provided important education about the prevention of coronary heart disease and the benefits of blood donation.
To socialize National Statistics Day to the wider community, BPS-Statistics Lampung Province also spread banners and distributed flyers at various crowded points in Bandar Lampung City.
Through the various activities held, BPS-Statistics Lampung Province not only showed its role in producing accurate statistical data, but also shared in the blood donor care program, as well as socializing the importance of data for development and community welfare, in line with this year's HSN theme, “Quality Statistics for Golden Indonesia”
