First Use of Sign Language in Official Statistics News Release

This morning, BPS-Statistics Lampung Province used sign language for the first time in its official statistical news release. This innovation was carried out as a form of improving public services to help our brothers and sisters with special needs, so that they can also get the same information related to statistical data reported by BPS.

The Head of BPS-Statistics Lampung Province, Atas Parlindungan Lubis, explained that the use of sign language is an innovation in ensuring inclusiveness of information for the entire community. "We want to ensure that all people, including those with special needs, can access statistical information easily and without obstacles," he said.

With this innovation, it is hoped that BPS-Statistics Lampung Province can continue to provide the best service to all levels of society, without exception.
