Foreign Investment Investment in Lampung Province in 2023 is 3.26 Trillion Rupiah

Based on Law no. 25 of 2007 concerning Investment, Foreign Investment (PMA) is an investment activity to carry out business in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia carried out by foreign investors, either using foreign capital entirely or jointly with domestic investors. The value of PMA investment in Lampung Province in 2023 is 3,264,195 million rupiah. Over the last five years, the largest PMA investment in Lampung Province occurred in 2020 with a value of almost 7 trillion rupiah.

Judging by business field, PMA investment is in line with PMDN. The Food Industry business field in Lampung Province has the largest role compared to other business field categories. PMA investment in this category has a distribution of 50% or 1,635,310 million rupiah. The other two categories of business fields that have the largest distribution are the Agriculture category, and the Transportation and Telecommunication Services category. Each category has a share of 23.55 and 7.75%. The business sector category that has the lowest PMA investment is the electricity, gas and clean water category with distribution of just under 1%.
