BPS Lampung Province attended the Quarterly Economic Discussion Meeting IV-2024

The Quarterly Economic Discussion Meeting (Diskontri) for Quarter IV-2024, with the theme "Portrait of Lampung Economic Growth 2024 and Lampung Economic Development 2025," was held this morning, Tuesday (11/2), in the meeting room of the Economic Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Lampung Province. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Lampung Province Economic Bureau, Rinvayanti, and featured several expert speakers.

BPS Intermediate Expert Statistics for Lampung Province, Tribuana Kartikasari, was present as a speaker along with Fiskara Indawan from Bank Indonesia Lampung Representative Office (BI KPw Lampung), Ridwan Saifuddin from Bappeda Lampung Province, and Teguh Endaryanto from Lampung University (UNILA). This discussion was also attended by various related Departments/OPDs, as well as representatives from the Indonesian Economics Scholars Association (ISEI) and the Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (KAFEGAMA) Lampung.

Tribuana Kartikasari said, "At this meeting, we can dig deeper with experts to discuss the results of the release made by BPS Lampung Province a few days ago regarding GRDP, so that BPS data can be used optimally by all parties, especially regional governments, in determining the direction of development policy," concluded Tika.

The main discussion at this meeting includes the condition of Lampung's economic growth throughout 2024 and economic development plans for 2025. It is hoped that this meeting will produce useful recommendations for making economic policies in Lampung Province, to improve community welfare and strengthen regional competitiveness.
